York Chocolate Festival is back!
The city’s sweetest festival is in full swing on Parliament Street and St Crux Hall until Sunday 20 April, and is full of delicious delights around every corner.
Check out our video below to see what tasty treats you might discover…
The chocolate-themed market has yummy offerings such as brownies, cookies, doughnuts, macarons, fudge, and much more. There are plenty of savoury options too, so there’s something for every palette!
Alongside the stalls, there are also hands-on cookery workshops, masterclasses and demonstrations to get involved in.

Don’t miss the Chocolate Bar on Parliament Street! Inside, sweet and savoury food will be available to tempt your tastebuds, as well as a variety of drinks. Some of them, of course, have a chocolate twist too – why not go for a traditional hot chocolate or chocolate stout?
Inside the Chocolate Bar tent, renowned chocolatier Ashley McCarthy is sculpting his latest chocolate creation across the festival days. Watch the master at work and be in awe! His previous chocolate sculptures include York Minster and an edible LNER Azuma.
