What a work of art!
York Minster has been recreated in chocolate by a master maker. And it looks stunning.
Chocolatier Ashley McCarthy has moulded a choccy Minster, which will be a centrepiece of the York Chocolate Festival which starts on Thursday.
The York-based chef consultant, and star of Channel 4’s Extreme Chocolate Makers, revealed his creation on social media.
And it will feature on BBC One this week too.
He said: “Dropped off (thankfully not literally!) our latest commission at a very prestigious venue in York…
“You’ll be able to see how it went for yourselves on the One Show this Thursday evening! It will be heading to York’s Chocolate Festival from Thursday.”
People were in awe of his skills. “A masterpiece. You must have the patience of a saint,” said one.
Another added: “Wow, looks amazing, too good to eat, but if there is a spare section I wouldn’t say no.”
