This extraordinary chocolate train is the centrepiece of York’s Easter extravaganza.
Created by chef Ashley McCarthy, the edible LNER Azuma emerging from the tunnel is on show during the York Chocolate Festival, now underway.
Ashley was the genius behind a choccy York Minster a couple of years ago.
The city is transformed into a chocolate lover’s paradise as the York Chocolate Festival returns from 27 to the 31 March.
Festival director Michael Hjort said “We are really glad to be back in Parliament Street in the heart of York. There’s something for everyone of all ages and at the festival.”
The five-day celebration of fabulous confectionery is packed with fun things to see, do and taste, including a taste trail, Easter egg hunt and chocolate sculpture gallery.
