A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an attack in York.
Police were called to reports of a man in his 30s suffering life-threatening injuries at an address in the Rawden Avenue area of York, before midnight on Saturday 28 December.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but was discharged the following day.

The victim is continuing to receive treatment for his injuries.
Police then put out an appeal to find 44-year-old York woman Anne Louise Ellerby in connection with their investigation.
Today (Thursday) a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “In the early hours of this morning, a 44-year-old woman from York, who had been wanted by North Yorkshire Police in connection with the incident, was arrested.”
They added: “We understand that this incident may cause concern within the local community.
“However, we want to reassure residents that we believe this to be an isolated incident and that there is no wider threat to the public.”
