The exit from York station onto Lowther Terrace and Holgate road has now reopened.
It had to be closed after part of a wall shed masonry across the cycle and pedestrian route, which leads off the long stay car park.
The exit and enterance also acts as a safe bypass for people who do not want to go via Blossom street when making trips between the west of the city and the centre of town.
The Victorian building is sealed off from the pathway as work continues to deal with the cause of the collapse which happened a few weeks ago during heavy rain.
