Signals now working as normal

Good news – the traffic lights on the junction of The Mount and Dalton Terrace are no longer stuck on red.

Council engineers have worked their magic and they signals are back to normal.

It might take a while for the built-up traffic to get through.

A busy York junction has been hit by faulty traffic lights this morning.

The signals are stuck on red at the junction of The Mount and Dalton Terrace. This has seen traffic backing up to the Knavesmire Road junction.

It is also causing delays to First York buses on the 3, 4 and 12 routes.

Engineers are on their way.

<Signals> All on red at The Mount/Dalton Terrace junction, engineers notified. Please travel with caution in the area.

Service disruption

The traffic lights on the Mount have been stuck on red all morning, it's now starting to get busy, and the council are aware and attending. This is expected to cause delays on the 3, 4 and 12 routes. Apologies for any inconvenience caused – Jake
