Police are investigating a thief who targeted public toilets in York.
They broke into three separate toilets, all run by City of York Council, within a two hour period.
The loos were at Nunnery Lane, St George’s Field and Rougier Street.
These are all pay-per-use loos. The thief took money from the cash boxes at each one.
The thefts all happened between 7am and 9am last Thursday (5 December).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information about anyone who has been seen to be in the vicinity of the toilets or any suspicious behaviour during this time.”
