A York road has reopened after a serious crash closed it on Thursday night.
It happened on Foxwood Lane and involved a single motorcyclist.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called out, landing on Chesney Fields.

Local reports say that there was one casualty, a young man. Some reports say he collided with a lamppost, but that has not been confirmed.
Police cordoned off Foxwood Lane for several hours. It has now reopened.
At 10.35pm on Thursday a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on Foxwood Lane, York.
“The collision happened at around 7.40pm this evening (3 August) and involved a single motorcyclist.
“An investigation is currently underway into the circumstances.
“If you have any information that could assist us with this investigation, please call North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference 455 of 3/8.
“We would ask if drivers could please avoid Foxwood Lane (from Thanet Road to Askham Lane), as the road will remain closed whilst officers investigate the cause of this accident.”
Foxwood Residents Association said on social media: “Foxwood Lane is currently closed following what is believed to be an accident involving a motorcyclist.
“Police and ambulances are at the scene. Best to avoid the area. We hope that everyone is OK.”
Shocked residents gathered close to the scene of the collision during the evening.
