A man reported missing from his home in North Yorkshire has been found safe and well.
Gino Francioli, 85, had not been seen since Sunday (7 August) and police issued an appeal to find him.
This afternoon, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Some good news. The 85-year-old Ripon man who went missing on Sunday 7 August has today been found safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to help find him.”

Police are growing increasingly concerned about the welfare of a missing North Yorkshire man.
Gino Francioli, 85, has been missing from his home in Bridge View Road, Ripon since Sunday afternoon (7 August).
Today (Monday), North Yorkshire Police said they believe that Gino has travelled by train to Leeds or Manchester and have extended their enquiries to those areas.
He is described as tall with white hair and was wearing a black coat and possibly carrying a blue rucksack.
Anyone who has seen Gino is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101 with any information, or call 999 if you have an immediate sighting of Gino.
