The famous York Ice Trail returned today (Saturday) – and crowds were loving the frosty sculptures.
Organised by Make It York, more than 40 amazing exhibits are on display across the city.
Following the paper map from Visit York or YorkMix‘s interactive Google map, crowds were finding their way around the city and finding their favourites.
Ice sculpture creators Ice Box were on hand in St Sampson’s Square demonstrating live carving, and youngsters were having a go at ice carving on the graffiti wall.
And don’t miss the competitions – you can win £1,000 at the YorkMix Radio sculpture on Parliament Street.
You might get to meet mascot Mixy Monster too!
And there’s a diamond ring giveaway at Bradleys’ Eco Rocks Diamond sculpture on Low Petergate.
One omission: The National Railway Museum’s Fabergé’s Trans-Siberian Railway Egg has been withdrawn due to the Russian attack on Ukraine.
The trail runs today and tomorrow (Sunday, 6 March). Tag us in your pix!
