If you’re a fan of hit show Bridgerton, we have a date for your diary.
Millions of Netflix viewers have been hooked on the Regency-era TV series. And now you can enjoy a Bridgerton inspired cruise, featuring live music from the show as you sail down the Ouse.
Ignite Concerts are putting on the event, in collaboration with City Cruises and York Gin.
The Ebor String Quartet will be playing the music from the series which is known for its contemporary music with a classical twist.
Board the Bridgerton Cruise on Thursday 20 June from King’s Staith Landing.
Passengers on the candlelit cruise will be able to sit back and relax – either on the Lower Deck or Upper Deck – with a glass of fizz and enjoy the reimagined modern classics.

Tickets start from £28.
Ignite Concerts was first launched by York singer-songwriter Alistair Griffin last year, with the aim to bring the popular candlelit concerts to some of the city’s beautiful historic venues.
Alistair has organised – and performed in! – candlelit concerts featuring everything from film scores to the music of The Beatles, with special shows for events like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
As well as the Bridgerton event, upcoming concerts include Candlelit 80s, taking place at St Olave’s Church, which will reimagine 80s classic hits, and Candlelit Take That at Impossible York which will pay homage to one of Britain’s most iconic boy bands.
“We want people to have that multisensory experience,” Alistair told YorkMix Radio‘s breakfast hosts Laura and Leigh.
“It’s not just about the music, it’s where music meets magic. That’s definitely what the Ignite concert experience is about.”
