A girl from Malton celebrated her 10th birthday in style this weekend with a special party. It was organised as a way of saying thanks for all her hard work in the town.
Emily Collins. along with her Mum Helen, spent all of the lockdown year making scrubs and bags for the NHS with the Ryedale Scrubs group.
She put in hundreds of hours of work.

So Gilly Robinson, who runs The Cooks Place in Malton, laid on a fabulous party for her and five friends at the cookery school over the weekend.
Gilly told us that Emily was a superstar: “She helped local frontline workers and throwing a party was the least we could do for her”
