A man exposed himself to two York girls on a city cycle path.
The incident happened at about 3.30pm on Saturday (February 11) on the cycle path behind James Street that runs parallel with Tang Hall Beck.
The man exposed himself and then carried out a lewd act in front of the two girls, both aged 15.
Officers have issued this description of the perpetrator.

Police are appealing for witnesses, and one specific man in particular.
He was approached by the two girls shortly after the incident on the cycle track. This witness is described as
- white
- with a bald head
- wearing a black waist length coat with the buttons fastened up
- and jeans,
- and carrying a drink and phone.
Police would like to speak to him as an important witness, even if he did not actually see the act take place.
