Firefighters were called to a fire in a York field last night.
Crews were called out to the incident in Acomb at 8.25pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a small fire started by youths on a field.
“The crew located a small fire left unattended. They extinguished using one knapsack sprayer.”
