Numerous reports of youths causing trouble in a York suburb and a city park are being investigated by police.
Officers say many people have contacted them about young people’s anti-social behaviour in Haxby.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’ve received numerous reports from concerned residents relating to groups of youths causing damage to the Aroma coffee shop door, dangerously riding e-bikes and causing anti social behaviour in Haxby village.
“This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated. We’re working hard to identify those involved.”
They asked residents to remain vigilant and report any further trouble, via 101.
Meanwhile, police are taking action against anti-social behaviour in Tang Hall Park.
The trouble included youths riding Sur-Ron electric bikes in the park.
Officers say they have increased patrols and used drones to monitor the situation.
The force spokesperson said: “We’re working hard to keep the area safe and will continue to target illegal and nuisance vehicle use.”
