Firefighters say youths are to blame for a fire in a Acomb last night (Sunday).
Crews were called out to reports of a fire in woodland off Acomb Wood Drive at 6.07pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet with the cause believed to be deliberate by youths.”
