Young York actors to perform on stage in London’s West End
Young superstars from York are to take to the stage in London’s West End.
Students from The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in York will be dazzling their family and friends with a spectacular performance of their show Trouble’s A Brewin’ at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 8 May 2022.
As part of PQA’s curriculum students have the once in a lifetime chance to perform in the heart of London’s theatreland.
For one night only, they will get to experience the thrill and buzz of performing on a West End stage.
Trouble’s A Brewin’ is a musical comedy set in a fictional Mid-West town in 1870s America.
PQA York principal James Aconley said: “We are so excited to have been offered the opportunity for our students to perform in London’s West End!
“The experience is truly one to remember, not only do they get to perform on one of the West End’s most famous stages but they also build confidence and life skills that extend way beyond the performing arts.”
