The Estonian Early Music Group of Kiili and York’s Minster Minstrels will play in front of the Lord Mayor of York, Cllr Keith Orrell, at the National Centre For Early Music.
And YorkMix readers can get £5 off the ticket price – see below.
Cllr Orrell said he was delighted to welcome “these exceptional young musicians” to York, adding:
-
The NCEM’s focus on presenting music of the past to a new and ever more engaged group of youngers is part of the DNA of the city’s cultural scene – providing a showcase of international talent but also working year-round to support creative partnerships across the community.
This concert is designed to help raise money for the City’s Music4U programme – supporting youngsters living in challenging circumstances for whom music making is a life-line, and we urge you to join us.
