Tired of the boring old family portrait sitting solemnly atop the fireplace?
Well, Hollywood Bowl York are offering one lucky family the chance to win a new family portrait with a twist.
To celebrate its partnership with Beano this Easter, Hollywood Bowl is launching a competition where the winners will receive a family portrait reimagined by a comic artist more familiar for drawing characters such as Minnie the Minx and Dennis and Gnasher.
Families who visit the attraction at the York Community Stadium Leisure Complex during the Easter holidays can enter this competition.
They need to capture a selfie of themselves bowling, post it on Instagram and caption the photo using the hashtag #Beanogoesbowling and tag @HollywoodBowlUK.
The partnership will also see Beanotown characters share their bowling tips with fans, who can try and beat Dennis and Gnasher’s high ten-pin bowling score, as well as posing for pictures with the two.
Hollywood Bowl York’s manager Andrew Peacock, said: “Beano is one of the most loved comics amongst kids and grown-ups who visit our centre, so what better way to celebrate the Easter school holidays?”
Vanessa Andreis from Beano Studios, commented: “We can’t wait to see all of the fun that families will have with Dennis and the gang this Easter holidays at Hollywood Bowl.
“Being immortalised as Beano characters by one of our incredible comic artists is a prize that will spread laughter and fun for generations.”
