One of Yorkshire’s biggest and best events is off to a flier at its new home.
Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta 2023 wowed the crowds at Castle Howard yesterday (Friday) and there are three more days of music, family fun and brilliant ballooning to come.

Crowds were awed by the stunning spectacle of mass balloon launches yesterday evening and this morning.
Friday music highlights included Toploader, Beth McCarthy and Ella Henderson on the main stage.
YorkMix Radio is media partner of the fiesta, and on the Mix stage are talents including the Caleb Murray Band, Tall Order, Liv Quigley and Lucy’s Pop Choir.
Around 20,000 tickets have been sold for the event so far. Musical highlights to come include Sister Sledge tonight, Sam Ryder tomorrow (Sunday) and Joel Corry on Monday.
There’s loads on for kids too, including Andy & The Odd Socks, Justin Fletcher and the Dick & Dom DJ Battle.
