A holiday treasure trail devised by York’s independent business proved a big hit this year.
Indie York held their Medieval & Magical Treasure Trail over October half term. People followed the trail map to find and solve clues displayed in the windows of independent businesses and attractions.
The trail was very popular with families, visitors and students.
They could enter their completed trail answers into a grand prize draw. And now the winners have been announced:
- the winner of a £500 bicycle donated by Cycle Heaven was Mike Hobbs from York
- the winner of a weekend break in a property from Wheelwrights York was won by Eve Cole from Sunderland
- the nine winners of £50 York Gift Cards donated by the York BID are: Keir Brown, Trevor Rudd, Samual Blyth, Charlie McClelland, Guilherme Meneguzzi, Keith Wright, Nathalie Larsen, Elizabeth Wallman and Guy Harland.
Indie York would like to say thank-you to all the people who followed the trail and a particularly big thank-you to the York BID, Cycle Heaven and Wheelwrights York for their very generous donations for the event.
