We’ll have to wait a few more months before sampling the food inside York’s huge new restaurant.
Carluccio’s will open in March 2017, it has been revealed.
The vast 168-cover restaurant, shop and deli will open in the combined former home of both the historic Terry’s shop and former TSB bank on St Helen’s Square.
And there are now additional plans for an outside seating area for a further 16 diners.
This would see a section of St Helen’s Square in front of the restaurant cordoned off behind branded partition screens supported by stainless steel supporting posts.
Jobs up for grabs
It will take a lot of people to staff such a big place. And now the recruiting process has begun. According to billboards in the window, the company is looking for “friendly, smiley, excitable people to join our team”.
Anyone interested in a role with the restaurant is asked to email their CV to [email protected] or phone 07933 280629.
