The weather is about to change, and get distinctly more autumnal.
After another warm weekend in York and North Yorkshire, with highs of 21°C, we are looking at next week beginning with heavy rain and ending quite chilly.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain covering North Yorkshire for the whole of Monday (23 September).
It says this could lead to flash flooding, road closures and disruption on public transport.
And by the end of the week, daytime temperatures will only reach 12°C. And it will feel cooler at night, with lows of 3°C.
So, do wrap up.
