If you’re looking for a unique way to spend Halloween – then this spooky musical evening in York could be for you.
These special Halloween-themed candlelight concerts are set to light up the National Centre for Early Music with classic horror soundtracks and music – including The Addams Family, Beetlejuice, Ghostbusters, The Exorcist, Thriller, and more.
Candlelight Halloween is at the National Centre for Early Music, Walmgate, on Thursday 31 October.
The unique musical programme is aimed at everyone from 8 years old and promises to be a fun and spooky night for all.
There will be two concerts at the York venue on Halloween night. A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics at 6:30pm will feature music from Stranger Things, Halloween and The Addams Family as well as classical horror music.
At the second concert, Horror Movie Soundtracks at 8:30pm, you can expect to hear music from all your favourite horror films such as The Exorcist, Psycho, The Omen, Saw and more.
Candlelight Concerts is a series of music concerts created by live-entertainment company Fever, with the aim to make classical music accessible to everyone.
It invites a broader audience that might have never considered a classical music concert before to connect with iconic pieces from composers and top hits from artists in a whole new way.
Tickets start from £22. To book your tickets and to see what other Candelight Concerts are happening in York, visit their website here.
