Theatre@41 have announced their fabulous new autumn/winter programme – with comedy, musical fun, and plenty of drama.
The creative hub and performing arts studio on Monkgate are getting set to host shows from some of Yorkshire’s finest production companies to national touring artists.
With stand-up greats such as Pierre Novellie and Harriet Kemsley, and classic drama like Othello and Oliver Twist, there’ll be something for everyone – and find out why five lesbians are eating a quiche…
“One of the best things about Theatre@41 is its versatility,” said chair, Alan Park.
“Our black box studio can be transformed into a totally different space every time a new company comes in. It might be a very simple set for a one night show or a fabulously intricate creation – everything works.”
And Alan said this unique quality is reflected in the varied new programme now on sale.
“We have a superb range of entertainment on offer,” he said. “And one of our aims is to keep theatre affordable so we hope to welcome plenty of packed houses.”
Take a look at some of the upcoming highlights below!
