Everyone is allowed to play tennis outdoors from today (Monday, 29 March).
And one club says it has the cheapest membership in the city.
Strensall & Towthorpe Lawn Tennis Club has announced new membership prices from £35 to £65 for the 2021/22 season.
Organisers say they have checked through all the clubs with teams in the city leagues, and this offer is the most affordable in York.
To help everyone get back into playing, the full price list is:
- adults £65
- students £45
- juniors £35
- and household membership (including support bubble) £90.
The tennis club is based at Durlston Drive in Strensall and welcomes all ages and abilities with regular club and social nights during the season.
It also offers the opportunity for competitive tennis in the Tyke Petroleum York Men’s Tennis League, where the club enters two teams.
The community club has three outdoor floodlit courts with a private clubhouse, changing facilities and parking.
Memberships can be purchased online and also be spread over four months with direct debit.
