One of the York Co-op stores is soon to get a rebrand.

The shop on Hull Road will have a retro makeover, as part of its decision to bring back its famous 1960s logo.

A planning application has gone in to City of York Council to install a new fascia and signs.

In September, the Co-op revealed plans to open a supermarket in the renovated Stonebow House in York city centre.
