Sight loss charity MySight York is holding an open day.
It takes place on Monday (6 June) between 10am and 3pm.
People living with sight loss in York are encouraged to drop in to the charity on Merchantgate, have some tea and cake and learn all about MySight’s services.
The event will have representatives from Optelec, a company which provides assistive technology, and from Explore York, which provides accessible large print and audio books.
Scott Jobson, MySight York chief executive said: “We also want to say a thank you to our volunteers, who make such a huge contribution to the organisation.”
The event is in Volunteer Week which runs from 1 June to the 7 June.
