York True Vintage Fair
It’s the launch event of what is set to be a regular fixture on Shambles Market.
Run by the Polly Perkins Vintage Fairs team, and supported by Make It York, there will be a range of stalls selling fashions, gifts and homewares.
Plus musical performances, a series of children’s vintage themed fairground attractions, a salon (complete with ladies hair & make up, gents barber and nail bar), and ‘pop up’ vintage tea room.
Made In Yorkshire Summer Show
Why not make your way down to this weekend’s Made In Yorkshire summer show and leave with your own little piece of God’s own county?
With products ranging from jewellery to award winning preserves, photographs to jams there’s something for all.
York Comic-Con
You may have imagined Comic-cons are reserved for the likes of the Americans.
But this weekend York hosts its very own. Special guests include Terry Molloy who played Davros, creator of the Daleks on Doctor Who.
Around 100 dealer tables will sell cool and geeky wares, exhibits, attractions, cosplay competitions and loads of other fun stuff.

Coppergate Centre art exhibition

To launch his exhibition at the Castle Fine Art Gallery in the Coppergate Centre, internationally recognised artist Alex Echo will talk about some of his works and answer questions from the audience.

York Farmers Market
Beautiful breads, excellent eggs and – for the first time this Friday – succulent sausage rolls from The Hull Pie, the Farmers’ Market has something for every appetite.
Other produce this month will include venison from Round Green Farm, eggs from Church View, fresh meat from Tancred Farm, Rose Hip products, baked treats from Haxby Bakehouse and coffee from North Yorkshire roastery, Rounton Coffee.
