Parking arrangements at Vangarde Shopping Park are changing.
From Friday 21 May, people can park for up to a maximum of 6 hours per day.
This option has been introduced to encourage customers to enjoy their shopping trip, and also the leisure facilities, without rushing.
By requiring tickets to be validated for any stay over four hours, the scheme provides more spaces for customers, by preventing non-customers using the car park for commuting or all-day parking.
Validation requires proof of purchase from any of Vangarde Shopping Park’s stores, cafés, or restaurants and is carried out at the management suite, next to Prezzo – or by speaking to any member of the shopping park customer service team.
Match days
When matches are being played, parking stays over two hours will need validation. On match days, M&S and Next will also be able to issue parking validation vouchers to their customers – customers can speak to a member of staff within those stores for assistance if required.
Signs will be prominently displayed around the park to remind visitors of the arrangements and options for extending their stay.
For fans attending matches, alternative options for match day parking will be available via the football or rugby club websites.
Deborah O’Donnell, manager at Vangarde Shopping Park said: “We are excited to be a part of the wider Stadium and leisure development and feel that their facilities really complement the stores and eateries we have at Vangarde.
“These arrangements will ensure that there are always parking spaces for our customers.
“However, we understand that often they want to spend longer here, so allowing parking for up to six hours with a validated ticket means everyone gets to enjoy more time to shop, eat and play.”
