A big giveaway is planned to celebrate the opening of a new store in York.
Lush has revealed that it will open in its new premises at the corner of Coney Street and Market Street at midday on Friday, 22 November.
And the first 100 customers will be given Lush pampering products for free to mark the expansion.
The new store is 100 sqm, making it more than 35% larger than its current location, further down Coney Street.
Work to turn out the former Mappin & Webb jewellery shop into Lush is now underway.
Store managers Sarah Baker and Annabelle Hall said: “The Lush York team is thrilled to welcome our wonderful customers, local and visiting, to our brand new store.
“Our customers have waited a long time for a bigger space to shop their fresh handmade treats and celebrate special occasions with us.
“We are happy and excited to share that with them from 22nd November.”
That opening date gives shoppers the chance to stock up for Christmas, on items including the best-selling Snow Fairy collection.
In the 2023 festive period, Lush produced and sold over 800,000 bottles of the pink magic shower gel in the UK alone, and their famed bath bombs remain enduringly popular.
The chain says the bigger space means they can also host bigger Lush parties.
A spokesperson said: “At £25 per person, each event is totally unique and fully customisable, with the host choosing from a range of activities during a consultation to build their perfect party, including a gift for the party’s VIP and goody bags for each attendee.
“Customers can also indulge in unique skincare consultations, enjoy a makeover with Lush’s sustainable makeup range, and explore the retro collection featuring nostalgic returning favourites.”
