Vandals have struck at a York city centre shop.
The Perfume Shop on Market Street has had its entrance window smashed.
It is part of the Superdrug store, but only The Perfume Shop entrance is affected.
There were two police vans at the scene this morning (Monday) and the area was cordoned off from both sides.
Barriers were put in place from the outside of the shop, and the area around the breakage has been taped off inside.
The store was closed to customers first thing this morning, but has now reopened.
Work is underway to board up the smashed windows.
