Missing York schoolgirl found safe and well
Missing teenager Faye Simpson was found safe and well in York city centre yesterday evening, police have revealed.
Detectives thanked everyone who helped to find her.

This is Faye Simpson, a 13-year-old from York. She failed to turn up to lessons at Joseph Rowntree School on Tuesday (January 20).
Police have been searching the local area for the teenager – and are asking the public to report sightings of her.
Faye is described as white, with a slim build, blue eyes and very long, dark hair and a fringe.
When she was last seen, she was wearing a Joseph Rowntree School uniform and a black coat with a lime checked lining.
However, Faye is believed to have a red shirt with her, which she may have changed into.
Anyone who sees Faye or can help to locate her is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.

This is the second time this month Faye has gone missing. After a previous appeal she was found safe and well in Leeds.
