York robberies – police renew witness appeal

This is an update following the arrest of three York teenagers in connection with two robberies in the city.

The robberies occurred a few minutes apart on Farndale Street and Alma Terrace at around 2am on Monday 8 July 2013.

The two boys aged 16 and the 15-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of robbery, have now been released on bail to allow for further police enquires.

Anyone who witnessed either of the robberies or has any information that could help the investigation is urged to contact York CID on 101, select option 2 and ask for Chris Hogg. Alternatively information can be emailed to York CID.
