River levels in York are on the rise again as the winter of storms continues.
Storm Jocelyn has brought more high winds overnight, with gusts of more than 80mph in North Yorkshire.
A yellow weather warning for wind is in place until 3pm.
The Ouse in York was at 3.65m at 7.15am today (Wednesday, 24 January). According to the Viking recorder forecast it is due to reach 4.23m by 5.45am tomorrow. The top of the normal range is 1.9m.
In Tadcaster, the bridge is set to close again to vehicles at 8am.
There are 12 flood warnings in place across North Yorkshire.
Northallerton firefighters rescued three drivers from floodwater on the A684 near Morton-on-Swale at 4.54am today. It is one of a number of roads closed by the floods today.

There are more than 100 premises without power due to the storms in North Yorkshire.
City of York Council has flood defences and pumps in place across the city.
Today in York:
- St George’s Field Car Park and St George’s Field Coach Park are closed
- Esplanade Car Park is closed
- Riverside paths are closed
- Rowntree Park, play area, and car park remain closed.
The rest of the city is open for business.
The Environment Agency said: “River levels are high on the River Ouse due to heavy rainfall associated with Storm Isha, and are expected to rise further from around 5am on Wednesday following Storm Jocelyn.
“Our incident response staff are closing flood gates and checking defences.”
