Shoppers need to refuel regularly if they are to make it to Christmas intact.
And so the reopening of a restaurant at one of York’s major retail centres is well timed.
PizzaExpress at the York Designer Outlet has just reopened after a sporting makeover.
Taking the city’s racing heritage as its inspiration, the new design includes artwork based on the colourful silks worn by jockeys.
Other changes include new banquette seating and copper pendant lighting.
Beef and potatoes
Just days after reopening the PizzaExpress launches its Christmas menu on Tuesday (November 21).
This features roast dinner pizza, complete with beef and roast potatoes.
Other new dishes include a maple-glazed gammon Romana, and a nutty cheese and potato pizza for vegetarians.
“We are incredibly excited to be relaunching our newly transformed restaurant at York Designer Outlet and can’t wait to invite new guests and regulars inside to see the changes,” said restaurant manager Jodie Cassidy.
