A York pub threw its doors open this week after a six-figure refurbishment.
The Riverside Farm in Skelton now boasts a new carvery serving up three roasts alongside the menu, which includes steak, gammon and vegan dishes.
As well as the updated food and drink offering, the Riverside Farm Greene King Pub & Carvery has been revamped throughout.
But general manager Vanessa Lee said the new-look pub will maintain its traditional features and homely atmosphere, adding:
-
The Riverside Farm has always been a popular destination for people in York, so we’re pleased to be able to offer an improved food and drink offering to our regulars and new customers alike.
The investment has been a real success, with great feedback on the new carvery, and pub atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming loyal and new guests over the coming months.
The refurbishment has created 30 new jobs.
