A large York pub is closed and shuttered.
But there are hopes to reopen it again soon.
The Inn On The Green in Acomb has metal security grills placed over its windows and doors and notices to say it is alarmed and monitored 24/7.
The large pub, previously known as Britannia, is run by Thwaites. It is actively looking for new tenants.
Thwaites describes the interior of the Inn On The Green as “a large open plan space with a comfortable lounge with high, free-standing and fixed seating and a dining area”.
The pub also has a big, double level beer garden.
The pub brochure says: “Trade at the Inn on the Green mainly centres around entertainment and live music.
“The pub is located at the edge of the green where local people gather and families enjoy the play facilities so is an ideal stopping point for drinks and food.
“There is currently no food offer but the galley kitchen is enough to offer a food offer and previously there has been a carvery unit which has been used for Sunday lunches.”
The guide rent for the pub is £11,500 per year. In the last year, the pub has sold 152 gallons of beer and 36 gallons of cider.
They are looking for people to sign up on a five-year tenancy. Find out more and apply here.
