Copmanthorpe Primary School says it wants to give children and parents a chance to come together to watch England play Italy in the Euro 2020 final this Sunday.
The head teacher acknowleges that the 8pm kick off and the prospect of it all over running means there will be some very tired children (along with Mums, Dads and Carers) on Monday morning.
So they have a solution!

They will be extending registration til 09;30 on Monday morning.
In a letter to parents the school stated: “We would much rather children come in alert and ready to learn as there were some very tired pupils after the semi-finals.
“School will be open as usual and staff will be in at the normal time but we thought you would appreciate this option”
If England win then children can come in dressed in a football top or red and while and face paint will be welcome too.
