More than 17,000 people are expected to attend York Pride tomorrow, North Yorkshire’s largest LGBTQ+ festival.
They will enjoy a community celebration on Knavesmire, featuring around 150 stalls, a funfair, family zone, circus workshops and York Trans Pride.
And the main stage will play host to Ru Paul Drag Race stars La Voix and The Angels of the North, The Cheeky Girls, West End star Kerry Ellis, X Factors’ Marcus Collins and many more.
Put together by a dedicated team of volunteers, the event costs more than £115,000 to stage.
So York Pride has partnered with more than 130 businesses to ensure that the day is a huge success.
The latest to be announced is The Milner York, a “jewel in the city’s crown” and Pride’s official hotel partner for 2025.

The York Pride parade will leave the city centre at 12pm then will make its way to the Knavesmire. More details on the Pride website.
