This is what foodie dreams are made of – as Thor’s is bringing a tasty partnership to York at The Milner Hotel Gardens.
For the first time ever, the pop-up bar is teaming up with Jimmy Mack’s, legends of slow ‘n’ low-cooked meats to serve up some serious flavour this summer.
Gather your family and friends to tuck into juicy brisket sandwiches, mezze spreads, and buffet banquets – as Jimmy Mack’s food is known to be bold, smoky, and made for sharing.
Thor’s at The Milner Hotel Gardens opens Thursday 16 May and runs until Monday 25 August.
James Mackenzie, the co-owner and chef said; “We were over the moon when Thor’s reached out to us!
“We can’t wait to serve up our Yorkshire Dales Beef Brisket, Hot Honey Crispy Belly Pork, and more of our showstoppers in such an iconic setting. It’s going to be a great season.”
Bespoke buffet menus for corporate and larger group bookings will also be on offer.
This year is Thor’s 10th birthday – and they’re celebrating in style with Disco Saturdays, slushie cocktails inspired by retro ice lollies, live music, and firepit moments.
Amanda Monaghan, director at Thor’s, said: “The Milner Hotel Gardens are such a special space, and we’re so excited to be bringing something new to this location this summer.
“Jimmy Mack’s brings a totally different flavour to what we’ve done before, and it’s the perfect match for our relaxed, welcoming vibe. With amazing food, slushie cocktails, live music and plenty of room for people to come together, it’s going to be a summer to remember.”
And it’s a big double dose of Thor’s this summer – as the Parliament Street venue opens on Friday 23 May, with a full-on street food takeover including Tommy Banks and York on a Fork.
