York pair sentenced for murder of Leeds man
Two men, Curtis Turpin and Adam Hudson, have been jailed for life for the murder of Leeds man Francis McNally.
The pair, who grew up in York, only met Mr McNally for the first time a few hours before they killed him, in October 2021.
Leeds Crown Court heard that they repeatedly stamped, kicked and punched the victim in the head, face and upper body, leaving him with 29 wounds.
They also strangled him with a pair of pyjama bottoms in Turpin’s flat in Markham Crescent, Haxby Road.
Turpin will serve a minimum of 16 years and three months and Hudson 15 years and six months.
The victim’s sister, Alexandra, described them as violent and evil” and said what they had done was “unforgivable”.
