A man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail while police continue their inquiries.
The murder investigation was launched after the discovery of a woman’s body on Monday (July 2).
The woman, named locally as Claire Lucas, was found in her flat on Fourth Avenue by police after her brother and work colleagues became worried about her whereabouts.
Police spent much of Tuesday at the property, where forensic teams were examing the crime scene. Residents in adjoining flats had to find an alternative place to stay while the investigation continued.

A man arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in York has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
The 35-year-old man, who was arrested after the body of a 25-year-old woman was found in a property on Fourth Avenue, York at 1pm on Monday 2 July, will answer bail at a later date.
