Four people have appeared in court charged with conspiring to supply cocaine and MDMA in York.
Sian Roe, 36, Lilly-Ann Roe, 18, Jay Baxter, 21, and Alexander Payne, 19, appeared at York Crown Court today charged with conspiring to supply and produce drugs over a year-long period.
Sian Roe, of Constantine Avenue, York, Lilly-Ann Roe, of the same address, and Baxter, of Lime Tree Avenue, New Earswick, denied conspiring to supply MDMA and cocaine between January and December 2020.
They also denied conspiring to supply tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) between the same dates. THC, a Class B drug, is the psychoactive chemical found in cannabis.
The three defendants, along with Payne, from Overdale Road, Middlesbrough, also denied conspiring to produce THC. He pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply MDMA, cocaine and THC, but denied possessing MDMA with intent to supply on 16 November, 2020.
Judge Sean Morris adjourned the case for a trial on 16 September next year. It is expected to last ten days.
