York Marathon 2013 in words, Tweets and pictures
What a day. York – and Yorkshire – hosted our first marathon on Sunday, and it could not have gone better.
Thousands took part, thousands more watched, cheered and Tweeted their support. Congratulations to all the participants, their supporters who helped runners raise huge sums for charity and the organisers who made it such a success.
So here, in your words and pictures, is the story of the day. Same time next year? Something tells us that this one will run and run…
Good luck to all the runners taking part in the Yorkshire Marathon, which comes passed the Minster today! #yorkmara
