A man was attacked with a knife in York and ended up in hospital.
The man suffered a knife injury to his arm after what police are describing as “an altercation” with another man.
It happened in the early evening of Sunday (March 13) on Saxon Place, off Dodsworth Avenue. The victim, who is in his twenties, had to be treated for the knife wound in York Hospital.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault.
In particular, officers want to speak to a man seen in the area driving a small dark-coloured car.
He is described as white, about 5ft tall, with a skinny build and short dark hair.
