York man charged with seven offences

Andrew Philip Horsman, 31, of Fifth Avenue,York, appeared at York Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 3 October 2013 charged with seven offences.

Two related to burglaries carried out at student accommodation at York St John University on 29 September 2013. A further two burglary charges related to incidents at Heslington Road on 30 September 2013 and student accommodation at Derwent College, University of York, on 1 October 2013.

He also faces two counts of fraud by false representation for using a stolen bank card to purchase fast food and a tablet device from a supermarket, as well as theft from his employer Domino’s Pizzas, which all occurred on 30 September 2013.

Horseman was remanded in custody and is due to stand trial at York Crown Court on Friday 18 October 2013.
