York will be transformed into the ‘City Of Dreams’ next weekend – as the magical York Ice Trail returns.
The free and family-friendly weekend is set to see the city streets lined once again with spectacular ice sculptures – discover mythical creatures such as the Kraken and the Unicorn, enter a mystical Wonka world of chocolate, explore the spectacular skyline of York and London, and much more.
York Ice Trail 2024 will take place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 February from 10am.
Use our interactive map to find all the ice sculptures for this year’s trail.
York Ice Trail is organised by Make It York, with main sponsors York Park & Ride and York Bid. The theme for 2024 is City Of Dreams, where your imagination can run wild in the magic of make believe.
Win £1,000 with YorkMix Radio
YorkMix Radio will have an ice sculpture in the trail for the third year running, and we have another competition with the chance to win big.
Our ‘Chasing Rainbows’ ice sculpture will be on Parliament Street – and we’ll be inviting visitors to guess how many mini Mixies are trapped inside the sculpture. If you guess correctly, you’ll be in with a chance of winning £1,000!
Don’t miss the ice sculptures from other York businesses and attractions too, such as Ate O’Clock, Potions Cauldron, Middletons, The Grand, and many more.
