Marie Curie volunteers have already collected an incredible £2,050 in York as part of the Great Daffodil Appeal.
They would like to send thanks to everyone that has helped them reach this milestone which will provide over 102 hours of care to terminally ill people and their families.
Thanks go to anyone that has volunteered their time at a collection, donated money, contributed in any way to such an incredible amount of money.
We have on-going events throughout the city – our extra collection date is this Sunday, March 26 from 11am–3pm.
Can you spare an hour?
Can you spare an hour to volunteer?
Massive thanks to City of York Council for giving this additional date after Hurricane Doris made York a quiet day.
It’s not too late to ask for your daffodil box – do you own a business and want to support our appeal?
Or would you like to host your own event, or volunteer for the charity? Then please contact Gemma Hewitt on 01904 755260 or email [email protected].
