A celebration of the best of Yorkshire has seen a York company triumph.
Millers Fish & Chips are celebrating after success at The Yorkshire and Humberside Family Business Awards.
The company won the best food and drink establishment.
It is just the latest award for Millers, which has a long-established shop in Haxby and a recently opened food stall on Shambles Market.
Organised by The Family Business Community, the Yorkshire and Humberside Family Business Awards ceremony were held at The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate.
Business owners, entrepreneurs, industry experts and leaders all came together to recognise the achievements of the region’s most innovative and successful family businesses.
Nick Miller said: “We were delighted to be nominated for this awards and be amongst some of the best family businesses in Yorkshire, but to win on the night was an incredible feeling for our family.”
Their front of house manager Lewis was also shortlisted for employee of the year.
The awards were presented by food writer and broadcaster Nigel Barden along with co-founders of the Family Business Community, Dave Clarkson and Sue Howorth.
